Anne-Marie de la Forest Divonne de Couriss

Wife of Alexandre de Couriss and grandmother of French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. The family of La Forest Divonne, formerly of La Forest, originally from Savoy, is part of the nobility of medieval extraction based on evidence from 1398. It was admitted to the Honors of the Court of France in 1773. It includes members of the court counts and then dukes of Savoy, general officers and even Louis de La Forest Divonne elevated to the dignity of peer of France in 1827, Guillaume Pavée de Vendeuvre (1779-1870) and Philippe Panon Desbassayns (1774-1840), all three politicians under the Restoration.
