Elisabeth Grunberg Metzel

Daughter of Youli Grunberg and Marie Gindus, she is the mother of the star dancer of the Paris Opera Youli Metzl (stage name Youli Algaroff). Her brothers and sister are Ludmila Rackhmanoff with whom she is buried, Eugène Grunberg, Vladimir Grunberg, Emile Grunberg (assassinated in an attack in Crimea) and Isabelle Grunberg (who remained in Russia). She emigrated first to Germany and then to France before the Second World War. She is buried with her sister Ludmilla Grunberg Rachmanoff.
