Eugene Grunberg

Son of Youli Grunberg and Marie Gindus. Brother of Vladimir Grunberg, Emile Grunberg, Ludmila Rachmanoff, Isabella and Elisaveta Metlz.

Was the impresario of Django Reinhardt, whose best man he was at his wedding with Sophie Ziegler. Organized many Russian Opera and ballet performances, notably with Serge Lifar. His offices were located at the Salle Pleyel in Paris.

After the war, he became director of the Monte Carlo Ballets. His nephew Youli Algaroff, whose real name was Youli Metzl, took over as a show organizer after finishing his career as a star dancer at the Paris Opera.
