ludmila mandelstanm stravinsky

Eldest daughter of the composer Igor Stravinsky, born of his marriage to Ekaterine Gavrilovna Nossenko (1880-1939). In 1935 she married the young poet Youri Mandelstamm (see Literature section) and gave birth in 1937 to a daughter Catherine (Strawinsky-Iellatchitch).

Ludmila died of tuberculosis at the age of 29.
