Daughter of O. Kolbassine-Tchernoff, was adopted by V. M. Tchernoff, wife of D. G. Reznikoff. She spent her childhood years in Italy and France. In 1921 she emigrated with her family to Revel, then lived in Berlin. She arrived in Paris in 1922, then lived on the island of Oléron. She was, together with her husband, close friends with A. M. Remizov. She inherited the writer's archive, translated his works into French (including "Cut Eyes", 1957); also translated the works of V. V. Rozanov, A. P. Chekhov. She shared her memories of Remizov at conferences of the Union of Russian Writers and Journalists and at the celebrations of the centenary of his birth. Author of "Memories of Fire" (Berkeley, 1980), she also wrote in the ACER Messenger her memories of M. I. Tsvetaeva, in 1981, in the magazines "Novy Grad", "The Will of Russia", "Novy Journal", in the newspaper "Russkaya Mysl", etc.
