The military square of the Russian cadet corps

Since its foundation in 1731, the Russian Cadet Corps has been intended for children of the nobility to receive officer training. After the 1917 revolution, a body of Russian cadets was created in France, at Versailles, under the direction of Lieutenant General Wladimir Rimsky Korsakoff. A monument on which is engraved the inscription cadets is in the center.
